Andrea Hall Duenas, a partner at Link & Rockenbach, concentrates her practice on appellate law and litigation support.
Andrea began her law career more than 25 years ago in Charleston, South Carolina where she worked for the boutique firm of Warren & Sinkler representing corporate clients at both the trial and appellate level. After relocating to Florida, she focused her practice on appeals, working first for the Office of Criminal Conflict representing defendants in criminal cases and parents in dependency actions. In 2012, she began practice as a sole practitioner, representing homeowners in foreclosure appeals. From 2010-2015, she served as lead appellate counsel on more than a hundred appeals filed in every District Court in Florida.
Andrea left private practice when she was offered a position to serve Judge Matthew Stevenson as a career clerk at the Fourth District Court of Appeal. After Judge Stevenson retired, she served in the chambers of the newest member of the bench, Judge Jeffrey Kuntz; she then moved to the chambers of Judge Robert Gross where she served for nearly three years. While at the Fourth, she authored more than 300 bench memos analyzing complex issues involving both substantive and procedural state law.
At Link & Rockenbach, Andrea will provide litigation support as well as representing clients in appellate matters.
